BrandsDirect.com is again a B2B2C solution for all brands under the electronics and home appliances categories. The portal maintains upto date information on the prices, configurations and features of each product under multiple brands thus giving the users an opportunity to have a one stop shop for products. The portal also, collaborates with various dealers and stores pages for each dealer in itself. This enables the buyer to check the product(s) and then look out for a dealer that deals in this product within the vicinity where he stays.

Business Challenge

A large project where apart from the normal product catalog features the need was to have the following
  1. Frank needed to build a site for his dealer network where he could build thousands of web-pages for individual local retail store or geographical service representatives whilst being managed through one central website from Head Office.

  2. Controlling a products and service databases in a corporate website and linking with local franchise offices web-pages to ensure branding and product consistencies whilst providing special offers for individual geographical locations

  3. A Content Management System – for managing content and message for individual site pages.

  4. Product Search Features – a search feature integrated with Google Custom Search technology.

  5. Special Promotion Offers – to display individual offers on local franchisee web pages.

  6. Database Integration – to allow new products and services to be managed and allocated to specific franchisees and dealers.

  7. Video System – where videos can be managed and assigned to specific locations.

  8. Franchise Marketing Dashboard – including email management and banner ad display management.

  9. Store Locator and Maps – functions to ensure local stores and resellers can be found by Zip Code, City, Town, State, Region and franchise name.

  10. Administrative Portal – for controlling details for each group member in the franchise network.
QuicSolv Solution

brandsdirect.com was built with all the components needed by the customer. QuicSolv has an answer to all challenges put forth to it.
  1. We built a framework now called "FranchisePro" using the LAMP technology which allows the administrator to upload a spreadsheet which automatically builds the franchisee pages and updates the existing ones. The website holds more than two thousand franchisee pages.

  2. Products were imported from an external source using Web Services and XML. Every fortnight a knight runs and updates all the products in the database real time.

  3. A Content Management System – was built for managing content and messages for individual site pages.

  4. Product Search Features – a search feature integrated with Google Custom Search technology was built.

  5. Special Promotion Offers – was coded to display individual offers on local franchisee web pages. This could easily be managed from the administration panel. The end date of the offer would automatically pull it off from the website.

  6. Database Integration – to allow new products and services to be managed and allocated to specific franchisees and dealers. This uses Web Services to manage the products database.

  7. Video Management System – was built where videos could be managed and assigned to specific locations.

  8. Franchise Marketing Dashboard – including email management and banner ad display management. This dashboard displays all the visits that have come on the site and the geo-location of these visits.

  9. Store Locator and Maps – functions was built to ensure local stores and resellers can be found by Zip Code, City, Town, State, Region and franchise name.

  10. Administrative Portal – was built for controlling details for each group member in the franchise network.
